Nice Thai style resort a bit off the beaten track. We had a 2 yo with us so we were happy to find a quiet place to spend a cpl of days where he enjoyed the pool and gardens.

This is off the highway a short distance with beaches close by (20 minutes). Great rooms, well appointed. Parking. Free breakfast. Great staff

This is an unusual place to stay. Very rural and peaceful. It has a free water park attached. Actually three pools with various inflatables, some of which are under inflated and dangerous. The resort also has its own pool. There's a river running alongside where you can get your feet nibbled by fish if that's your thing. The evening meal was very good and good price. Aircon in room was very good. Beds are standard doubles, not king. We were the only guests which was weird. Recommended for one or two night stay with kids. 500thb for lift to ferry terminal.

Despite some people that can't see the good in things, I think Ton Tan Resort is OK. It is only two star so if you expect 5 star don't go. Nice pool, Big rooms, HOT water and cold air conditioning. Room service was great. Food was very good. We even got a 150 baht a night discount without even asking.. Don't listen to whining whinging unhappy Japanese business men when looking at reviews.
